Square 33 explores the role of compute infrastructure in markets, institutions, and high-growth economic environments.

Current work includes Unit Staircase™, a framework under development that begins with mathematical observations about compute growth and propagates their implications through infrastructure, economic value, and institutional planning cycles.

This work builds on my prior experience at the intersection of silicon, systems, and applied research transition.

From 2015–2024 at Intel, I worked across the Office of the CTO and Intel Federal on applied research capture and transition. Highlights include initiating and co-developing one of Gordon Moore’s final public statements, a foreword for DARPA’s Electronics Resurgence Initiative in 2017, and producing, at DARPA’s request, a Moore’s Law commemorative film for the agency’s 60th anniversary in 2018.

The through-line has been connecting early silicon and systems research to practical pathways for commercial and government stakeholders.
